The heart of a man is filled with dignity, authentic passion, and a desire to create a better world. Unfortunately, in our contemporary society most men are pressured everyday with several expectations that seem unbearable and confusing including the mixed messages regarding their own masculinity. At times, some unhealthy models of masculinity come from our culture, family or the most significant relationships we had when growing up that did not provide enough attention, care and love to explore what it means to be a man. The result is often a silent withdraw that lead men to cope with shame, failures and relationships issues alone. Though the safe space of therapy, I would like to support men in restoring a sense of mastery, confidence and harmony in their life by discovering their unique gifts, qualities and values.
