Portland, Maine therapist: Eve Palmatier, licensed clinical social worker
Serving Women

Eve Palmatier

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW
I'm "Eve", and I've completed my masters in social work and have my LCSW. I've spent the last few years working with the lgbtq+ community, family and youth (ranging from toddlers to 18 year olds), supporting adults in breaking the cycle of abuse, and helping people better understand and manage their mood disorders (anxiety, depression, bipolar, etc). I have worked in a very rural area where I was one of only a few therapists; which meant that I had to learn how to meet the needs of a diverse set of clients. As a result I can offer support for a wide variety of mental health needs. I try to be adaptable and I'm not afraid to seek out trainings if I feel a client needs more from me. I also make a point to be transparent; so if you're wondering if I have the skillset to support you--please feel free to reach out and I'll let you know the specifics of what I have to offer.

New York City, New York therapist: Dr. Stéphanie Gamache, PhD, hypnotherapist
Serving Women

Dr. Stéphanie Gamache, PhD

Hypnotherapist, PhD
Something in you knows that what you're carrying runs deeper than the presenting problem. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and outwardly composed-yet internally they live with anxiety, depression, chronic tension or pain, relentless self-criticism, or a sense that something essential is blocked, muted, or just out of reach. These struggles may surface in mood, in the body, in behavior, or in relationships-including sexuality and intimacy-but they are rarely contained to any one area. They tend to reflect deeper emotional and relational patterns formed early in life, often before language, that continue to shape how a person approaches closeness, vulnerability, agency, pleasure, and self-expression. My work centers on how early experience shapes the capacity for self-regulation, desire, connection, and meaning throughout life-and particularly on how people come to know what they need and want, how they learn to express or inhibit those impulses, and what happens when these capacities become conflicted, constricted, or difficult to sustain. I integrate psychoanalytic hypnotherapy, somatic awareness, and clinical sexology within a reflective, depth-oriented process. Hypnosis functions as a central clinical tool-creating conditions for deeper internal contact with emotional, bodily, and unconscious experience that can be difficult to reach through conversation alone. The aim is not only relief from symptoms, but the development of a more coherent and compassionate relationship with one's inner life: sensations, emotions, impulses, and desires. This work is oriented toward lasting psychological change-and toward greater freedom in how one relates to oneself, one's body, and one's capacity for connection, authenticity, and vitality. It is best suited to those ready to move beyond symptom management toward something more fundamental.

 therapist: Dr. Nichole Vincent, psychologist
Serving Women

Dr. Nichole Vincent

Psychologist, PsyD
Not your typical therapist. No passive nods, no distant “mm-hmm” moments. You deserve a space where you can be your unfiltered self, explore your thoughts, and make meaningful progress without feeling like you're talking to a blank wall. That’s where I come in. Think of our sessions like catching up with a good friend over your favorite drink. I’ll ask how your week’s been, what book has you hooked, or how that recent trip turned out, not out of obligation, but because I genuinely care. I’m here to celebrate your wins, sit with you in the tough moments, and challenge the narratives that keep you stuck. And when needed? I’ll give you the honest, compassionate feedback that helps you move forward. Clients often tell me they feel instantly at ease with me, like they can finally breathe. I bring warmth, humor, and a down-to-earth approach that makes the therapy room feel like a safe, inviting space where vulnerability is welcome. No judgment. No pretense. Just real talk, real growth, and real support. I believe you are the expert of your own life, my job is to help you see that, own it, and step into the life you deserve.
