Bethesda, Maryland therapist: Lakhshmi Nagireddy, therapist
Child or Adolescent Issues

Lakhshmi Nagireddy

Therapist, LMSW
I have worked with many different ages of children, from age 5 - age 17. Different ages require different kinds of support. Often with ages 5-6 we will work on self-regulation through nonverbal means including breathwork and play therapy. With 7-9 year olds, we will work on how to express their feelings and ways to increase their self-regulation both at home and at school. Ages 10-12 we often work on how to navigate peer relationships and how to identify their emotions, as well as to navigate those emotions. Ages 13-15 we often work on navigating peer relationships, increase awareness of their own values and identity, and how to navigate choices in line with their own values and identity. Ages 16-17 we continue the work that ages 13-15 often face as well as school concerns, anxieties around college, and how to navigate difficult choices.

Ali Kram Mogan

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW-C
When working with children or adolescents I work to meet each child where they are at. I believe rapport building is imperative when beginning the therapeutic alliance. I will use the therapeutic relationship to foster change and acceptance. I also incorporate skills, coping techniques and mindfulness to address any emotional dysregulation.

Child or Adolescent Issues

Jennie Robinson

Counselor/Therapist, LGPC, RMHCI
I work with adolescents individually to provide a warm safe space to work on the challenges they are facing at this difficult age. I bring youthful humor into my sessions and my main priority is establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients so they feel comfortable and feel motivated to work on what they need. Some of the presenting issues of adolescents I see include anxiety or phobias, trauma and PTSD, depression, chronic pain or illness, relationship conflict, self-esteem, stress, and more.

Bethesda, Maryland therapist: Dr. Patricia Webbink, psychologist
Child or Adolescent Issues

Dr. Patricia Webbink

Psychologist, MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology
I was trained in Child and Adolescent Psychology at Duke University, and did a child and adolescent internship at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. For many years, I have offered individual, family and group psychotherapy for children and adolescents in the Washington, DC metro area. I also work with their parents and I coordinate with their schools and universities, as needed. Now I work globally with online networks, so I am not constrained by distance. I have led groups for children of divorce as well. I offer regular free zoom seminars every few weeks, which are appropriate for adolescents and adults. My approach involving relaxation, music and imagery can provide a way of healing for children of all ages using their imagination. Over the years I have dealt with bed-wetting, encopresis, nightmares, learning disabilities, autism and Asperger’s, selective mutism, behavioral and school problems. Children are often resilient and respond well to psychotherapy. Please feel free to call for more information: 301-229-8000.
