I have extensive experience working with addictions and substance abuse. I do believe in a 12 step program so therapy with me will also require involvement in some other recovery program. This has a better chance of you remaining in recovery.  

Dr. D'Arienzo ran the substance abuse program for the Pacific Fleet in the Navy and has been in consistent recovery from addiction himself since 1993. He is the ideal substance abuse expert to assist you or your family. Interventions are also provided.  

I have had much success working to help those wanting to change their relationship with substances; though my approach is rather challenging and not what you will typically find. I push individuals to confront themselves and to take full responsibility for their choices and the consequences.  

Each of us faces obstacles and difficulties in life differently, and at times we can all use help. Individuals frequently seek my services during times of transition, when decision making appears to have a greater impact on our future directions.  

I trained for over 3 years in various treatment settings (intensive outpatient, outpatient, and post-detox residential).
