My healthcare journey began with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Forsyth Technical Community College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oklahoma Wesleyan University, culminating in a Master's Degree from Walden University.
At Covenant Family Care, we embrace the convenience of modern healthcare by offering virtual consultations and home visits throughout North Carolina. Before establishing my practice, I served the community at North State Medical Center, focusing on primary care for all age groups.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I actively contribute through volunteer work at local organizations such as Elevation Church-Matthews, Free Clinic Matthews, and Ground40 in Monroe.
My most enjoyable and significant role is being a mother to my 13-year-old son. We delight in attending his soccer games and seizing beach opportunities when our schedule permits. Our days are further enriched by the presence of a 7-year-old Dalmatian and a 9-month-old German Shepherd puppy.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and veteran who is most passionate about helping men navigate the challenges of 21st century manhood. I specialize in working with young-adult and middle-aged men struggling with anxiety and depressive symptoms related to past, present, and future stressors, or events. I left the managed care industry after six years to pursue a full-time career in mental health counseling. My pursuit in growing my practice has fulfilled my lifelong desire to help others. I was the youngest of seven children and I believe that through that experience I developed the power of observation and curiosity. Moreover, I am a prior service veteran and I enjoy collaborating with veterans as they transition and adjust to civilian life.
My integrative approach is designed to help you achieve your goals/objectives and shine insight onto whatever issues are troubling you. Ultimately, I believe you are on a journey towards, self-compassion, self-acceptance, self-worth, and authenticity. Even though I am trained in several theoretical orientation, my best traits include empathy, compassion, and being non-judgmental.
