Faithful Connections Christian Counseling LLC
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Experiencing psychosis can be frightening, confusing, and overwhelming, both for the individual and for those who care about them. At Faithful Connections Christian Counseling, we provide compassionate, supportive counseling for individuals navigating experiences such as hallucinations, unusual or distressing beliefs, disorganized thinking, or significant changes in perception and functioning. Our approach is person-centered and nonjudgmental, focusing on helping clients feel heard, supported, and empowered while developing practical strategies for managing stress, emotions, and daily challenges.
Counseling can support increased self-awareness, coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, healthy routines, and connection with supportive people and treatment providers. We work collaboratively with clients and, when appropriate and authorized, other members of their treatment team to support continuity of care and recovery goals. Therapy is intended to complement—not replace—psychiatric care, medication management, or other specialized services when those are needed.
For clients who desire it, Christian faith can be incorporated into counseling in a thoughtful and supportive manner through prayer, Scripture, and spiritual reflection while maintaining attention to emotional and mental health needs. You do not have to navigate these experiences alone. With compassionate support and appropriate care, stability, hope, and meaningful progress are possible.
