Philadelphia, Pennsylvania therapist: Jason Hutchings, psychologist
Serving Pacific Islander

Jason Hutchings

Psychologist, PsyD
My initial interest in psychotherapy was sparked by studies in history, music, visual art, and the major world religions. These seemingly disparate interests helped me understand individual narratives in the context of our larger collective history. We all have a sense of who we are and how the world works based on years of lived experience. By deepening the understanding of our personal narrative we prepare the way for a sense of meaning and purpose that can impact our lives and those around us in profound ways.

Dr. Shannon Coleman

Psychologist, PhD
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, carefully tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. My approach is grounded in evidence-based treatment while also recognizing the value of longer-term therapy to deepen self-awareness, clarify personal values, and support meaningful growth. I work with clients to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns of behavior and to create meaningful changes in their lives.

New York City, New York therapist: Dr. Stéphanie Gamache, PhD, hypnotherapist

Dr. Stéphanie Gamache, PhD

Hypnotherapist, PhD
Something in you knows that what you're carrying runs deeper than the presenting problem. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and outwardly composed-yet internally they live with anxiety, depression, chronic tension or pain, relentless self-criticism, or a sense that something essential is blocked, muted, or just out of reach. These struggles may surface in mood, in the body, in behavior, or in relationships-including sexuality and intimacy-but they are rarely contained to any one area. They tend to reflect deeper emotional and relational patterns formed early in life, often before language, that continue to shape how a person approaches closeness, vulnerability, agency, pleasure, and self-expression. My work centers on how early experience shapes the capacity for self-regulation, desire, connection, and meaning throughout life-and particularly on how people come to know what they need and want, how they learn to express or inhibit those impulses, and what happens when these capacities become conflicted, constricted, or difficult to sustain. I integrate psychoanalytic hypnotherapy, somatic awareness, and clinical sexology within a reflective, depth-oriented process. Hypnosis functions as a central clinical tool-creating conditions for deeper internal contact with emotional, bodily, and unconscious experience that can be difficult to reach through conversation alone. The aim is not only relief from symptoms, but the development of a more coherent and compassionate relationship with one's inner life: sensations, emotions, impulses, and desires. This work is oriented toward lasting psychological change-and toward greater freedom in how one relates to oneself, one's body, and one's capacity for connection, authenticity, and vitality. It is best suited to those ready to move beyond symptom management toward something more fundamental.

Naperville, Illinois therapist: Vickie Bhatia, psychologist
Serving Pacific Islander

Vickie Bhatia

Psychologist, Ph.D.
You're doing everything right, so why does it feel like it's not enough? That question shows up constantly in my work with high-functioning adults and couples who look put together from the outside and are quietly exhausted on the inside. I help people who are used to handling things on their own figure out what's not working, whether that's a relationship stuck in the same fight, a pattern of overthinking that won't quiet down, or a life that checks every box and still doesn't feel like theirs. I bring honest, grounded feedback and 15+ years of clinical training and experience to that work. If you're tired of managing everything alone, reach out.
