Life can be beautiful, but it can also be incredibly hard.
When pain, loss, or confusion take hold, it’s easy to get caught in cycles that feel impossible to break. Sometimes, no matter how capable you are, the weight of it all can leave you feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of who you are anymore.
In therapy, we slow things down. Together, we untangle the patterns that keep you repeating the same pain experiences — in your thoughts, in your relationships, or within yourself. Whether you’re facing trauma, anxiety, addiction, grief, or emotional exhaustion, you don’t have to do it alone.
My work supports individuals and couples through the moments that feel unbearable — helping you rediscover stability, clarity, and connection. Healing isn’t about erasing the past; it’s about transforming how you carry it, so you can move forward with strength, authenticity, and self-compassion.

Treatment Approach
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Experiential Therapy Involves hands-on activities to bring emotions into the present moment. It helps clients process feelings more deeply than through conversation alone.
- Gestalt Therapy Encourages awareness of thoughts, feelings, and actions in the present moment. It helps people integrate different parts of themselves for wholeness.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
- Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.

With close to thirty years of experience, I support couples in findimg their way back to understanding and connection — especially when communication has broken down or trust has been shaken. I also work with individuals navigating trauma, loss, addiction, and the journey toward personal healing and growth.
My approach is collaborative, grounded, and deeply human. I integrate Gestalt principles, parts work, trauma-informed awareness, and somatic practices to help you reconnect with yourself on every level — mind, body, and emotion.
Therapy with me isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about genuine awareness and lasting change. Together, we uncover the patterns that keep you stuck and create space for new ways of being — more honest, more connected, and more aligned with who you truly are.
Healing Matters support all types of relationships including consensual non monogamy.
