Andrew Saliba (He/Him)

Counselor/Therapist, CCC (Registration No. 11246757), APC (Registration No. 834ON24)
Together, I believe therapy can be both transformational and perhaps even enjoyable. Maybe you'd like to begin working on some things, but aren't sure where to start. I believe everyone deserves a safe place to share, process, and to find inner healing. I welcome you as you are. Contact me to let me know about yourself or what you're seeking help about. My journey has been neither easy nor straightforward, so I see the need for empathy, deep listening, and a non-judgemental approach to issues. One of the reasons I became a counsellor was to support those with either pain from the past, questions about life, or problems that require someone who listens well and has expertise to help. My desire is to help you understand yourself better and navigate your circumstances with a sense of strength, hope, and togetherness.

Treatment Approach

  • Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) Trauma-informed therapy that helps individuals explore deeply held, painful emotional experiences within a safe, attuned therapeutic relationship.
  • Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
  • Gottman Method Couples Therapy Based on decades of research, this method gives couples tools to improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen intimacy.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
  • Neuropsychology Examines how brain function affects thinking, memory, and behavior. It often involves assessment and rehabilitation strategies.
Approach Description: I draw on findings from psychology, neuroscience, and theology to provide an approach that is tailored to you. The brain changes in the context of relationships; applying this knowledge is my speciality. With my guidance, you won't just adopt new behaviours or perspectives, you'll experience a shift, empowering you to overcome challenges and experience lasting change you can feel.
