Transitions in life and work can bring both possibility and uncertainty. You may be preparing for a new chapter, weighing an important personal, career, or financial decision, or struggling with a sense of being stuck. You may also be considering how to create a life that feels more fulfilling, sustainable, and aligned with your values. The decisions you make and circumstances you face during such periods can meaningfully shape what comes next. Although these moments can be stressful, they can also invite deeper reflection on identity, relationships, mental health, and how you want to live. You do not have to work through them alone.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
Approach Description: As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches and tailor the work to your needs, goals, values, and experiences. Rather than relying on a single therapeutic model, I use different perspectives and strategies according to what may be most helpful at different points in therapy. We will regularly discuss what is and is not working so that we can refine our approach as your needs and goals evolve.

My practice is grounded in the belief that effective therapy begins with understanding you as a whole person. Rather than viewing the concern that brings you in by itself, we will consider how different parts of your life – including your identities, relationships, cultural background, work, values, experiences, and circumstances – affect one another. I want therapy to be a space where you feel heard, respected, and met with warmth, compassion, and nonjudgmental curiosity.
I approach therapy as an active partnership. I bring clinical training, experience, and knowledge of different therapeutic approaches; you bring essential knowledge about yourself, your life, and what has and has not been helpful to you. As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of perspectives and strategies based on what may be most helpful to you. We will regularly discuss how therapy is going and adjust our approach as your needs and goals evolve.
My practice encompasses a broad range of psychological and relational concerns, with particular expertise in the emotional and psychological dimensions of work and career, and a developing specialization in financial therapy. Together, we will determine the scope and priorities of therapy, which may focus on a particular concern, address multiple areas of your life, or shift over time as your needs and goals evolve. My goal is to help you gain insight, draw on your strengths, cultivate greater self-compassion, and take realistic steps toward lasting growth and well-being.
