I’m a multi-state licensed clinical social worker who is deeply passionate about helping people build healthier, more authentic relationships—starting with the relationship they have with themselves.
In my work, I often support individuals who have spent much of their lives over-accommodating, over-functioning, or feeling responsible for others. Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to prioritize their own needs without guilt. They may feel chronically anxious, depressed, or worried.
My style is warm, direct, and grounded. I’m not a “just sit and nod” therapist—I’m actively engaged in helping you understand patterns, shift perspective, and develop practical tools you can use in real life.
I believe you don’t HAVE TO do anything - but you do GET to choose. And learning how to make those choices with clarity and confidence can be incredibly freeing.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Brainspotting A therapy that uses eye positions to access and process unresolved trauma. It helps release emotional and physical pain held in the body.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Imago Relationship Therapy Helps couples understand how childhood experiences influence adult relationships. It teaches communication techniques to deepen connection.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: My approach is integrative, blending evidence-based practices with a strong focus on relational patterns, self-awareness, and practical application.
I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), while also incorporating elements of attachment work, boundaries-based frameworks, and insight-oriented exploration. A core part of my work includes helping clients understand the difference between boundaries, limits, expectations, and agreements—and how these show up in their daily lives.
I am an active and engaged therapist. I will challenge patterns when needed, offer direct feedback, and help you develop language and tools that translate outside of the session.
This work is not about perfection—it’s about increasing awareness, building choice, and creating meaningful, lasting shifts in how you show up for yourself and others.
