I am an online EMDR therapist that specializes in treating complex PTSD for California residents. I'll be asking you what symptoms are bothering you today and find out where they come from - and treat the root of the problem! You and I will create a plan together and I'll explain why I'm choosing the interventions I'm choosing so you can understand your treatment. I also treat trauma that is driving substance use and I encourage attendance community support groups in between sessions (i.e. Celebrate Recovery, 12 Step, SMART Recovery, etc).

Approach Description: In our first session, we'll be identifying your goals for treatment and then work backwards to identify where these symptoms are coming from. After this, I prepare you for EMDR and then we start working! Many people begin processing actual events by session 3 or 4 - however some people need more preparation than others. We go at your pace, no matter what.
