Hello! I'm Debbie Tudor, LPC-S. Call me for counseling for adults by remote therapy ONLY-phone, Facetime, or Skype. Do you need help managing depression, anxiety, or a breakup? I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1996 and am certified by Dr. Karyl McBride to help you recover from dealing with a narcissistic parent or ex-spouse. I'm the author of Devine Relaxation, an I Tunes download for sleep, relaxation, and pain management. Both my Bachelor's and my Master's college degrees are in the counseling field. I have appeared on Fox 4 News to speak about anxiety issues and wrote "It's Not You, It's Them: 30 Days of Hope and Healing for the Adult Child of a Narcissistic Parent." Are you going through divorce recovery, trouble speaking up for your needs, depression, or anxiety? Are you reeling from a difficult divorce or co-parenting experience? I have traveled across Texas for many years teaching Divorce Recovery classes which focus on teaching healthy boundaries with your ex-spouse as well as ways to move forward and avoid getting emotionally stuck in the divorce process. My work is with individuals over 18 only, and is private pay only (no insurance accepted).
I am a "Will I Ever Be Good Enough? Healing the Daughters of Narcissistic Mothers"-certified Therapist. I enjoy helping you find freedom from the damaging effects of being raised by a narcissistic parent, and learning ways to deal with them currently if needed, OR from having been in a relationship with a narcissist. I am the author of "It's Not You, It's Them: 30 Days of Hope and Help for the Adult Child of a Narcissistic Parent," a workbook to help you recover from the past and set boundaries in the present (available on my website and Amazon.) This is a very specific area of counseling, and if this is your issue, you need someone certified in this area.
My commitment to screening each patient for depression and anxiety, then sending those results to the patient's doctor (if the patient wishes), make me the preferred referral for many healthcare providers. I go above and beyond, providing email support to the patient between sessions at no extra charge.
I am the right therapist for you if you seek only the best for your life, want remote therapy, and understand a commitment to quality! You will find both practical help, right from the very first session, and a warm and compassionate atmosphere of acceptance. You will get tips for handling your issues in a clear, easy to understand format, including handouts and other recommendations.
Sometimes another person tries to make us feel at fault for things they do wrong and tells us things like "you're crazy" when we point out what they've done. That can make us believe it after awhile. Is this happening to you? I can help you understand this tactic (called "gaslighting") and give you tools to respond and protect yourself.
If you are dealing with a damaging person, there are levels of contact that I can teach you as a Certified Recovery Therapist from dealing with Narcissists. You may not want to cut the person out of your life entirely-there are ways to maintain some relationship. Especially if the person is co-parenting with you, or is your own parent, some level of contact may be needed. Let me help you make those very individual and personal decisions as I support you in ideas and insights as to what is best for YOU.
My own experience in dealing with a narcissist family member led me to study this particular issue. I found an enormous freedom there, and want to share that experience with my patients.
