Treatment Approach
- Biofeedback / Neurofeedback Teaches people to control body or brain activity using real-time monitoring. It’s often used for stress, anxiety, ADHD, and migraines.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Gestalt Therapy Encourages awareness of thoughts, feelings, and actions in the present moment. It helps people integrate different parts of themselves for wholeness.
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy Based on decades of research, this method gives couples tools to improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen intimacy.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: I use CBT. EMDR, and person-centered techniques grounded in an object relations orientation. My approach is flexible and eclectic, and I draw on life coaching conversations, energy psychologies such as EFT and TAT, Gestalt techniques, somatic healing, and meditative techniques, depending on client needs and preferences.

I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where humor is welcome. The methods I use--particularly EMDR and CBT--lead to deep healing and real change. If you're experiencing anxiety, depression, betrayal, grief, trauma, relationship issues, or transition difficulties, give me a call.
I'm a licensed clinical mental health counselor with EMDR training and a Ph.D. in life coaching. I see clients primarily via video counseling. Most of my clients want help with anxiety, depression, relationships, betrayal, trauma, grief, or estrangement. I see adults as well as seniors and older teens. I'm also the author of many self-help books and articles, including "Boldly Live as You've Never Lived Before" and "The Leave the Cult Handbook." I also ghostwrote a book about emotional eating for a well-known psychiatrist.
Looking forward to meeting you soon.
