Therapy Sessions Dr. Jessica Shine Practice Description
During our time together, I will utilize client-centered therapy with an eclectic approach by combining Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodynamic, to name a few. In using these approaches, we will collaborate to discover the negative behavioral patterns and or thought processes that have kept you in a stuck place and prevented you from leveling up. When working with clients, I find myself helping clients that tackle issues such as trauma, familial dysfunction, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and intimate relationships. I am a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator. Prepare/Enrich is a wonderful relationship tool used for premarital and marriage counseling that allows you and your partner to complete a thorough assessment, providing a personalized snapshot of your relationship and guiding our therapy sessions. Additionally, I hold level 1 and level 2 training of Gottman Methods Couple Therapy. This therapy is designed to equip therapists with specialized knowledge and skills in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I also have extensive training and certification in Prolonged Exposure Therapy, one of the most highly effective treatments for people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) among many other mental health needs. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and help you blossom into the person you desire to be. If you’re looking for an authentic, down-to-earth therapist who is ambitious, passionate, caring, and intentional about your healing, you found her! I look forward to hearing from you, contact me for your journey to wellness.
