Approach Description: I empower my clients to identify and amplify the strengths within themselves and their world that they may have lost touch with or perhaps have not yet discovered. In our sessions together, you'll experience a healthy balance of acceptance and empathy that meets you where you are, paired with therapeutic challenges towards growth. I like to collaborate with my clients so that their treatment is individualized to their unique goals, culture, strengths, and areas of growth. Creativity, spontaneity, and humor are often a part of therapy sessions with me. I thrive in being able to create safety in sharing, connection in being seen and understood, and assistance in helping people more fully express their experiences in life. I often get feedback that my clients feel like they can "be themselves" with me. I practice evidence-based treatments and most commonly utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
