Treatment Approach

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
  • Biopsychosocial Therapy Takes into account biological, psychological, and social factors in understanding mental health. It looks at the whole person, not just symptoms.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
  • Jungian Therapy Draws on Carl Jung’s ideas about archetypes, dreams, and the collective unconscious. It helps people explore deeper layers of meaning.
  • Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
  • Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: I have over a decade of experience in the mental health field with education and training from leading institutions. My traditional background combined with my pursuits of training in energy medicine and healing have led me to develop a perspective and approach to provide the maximum benefit to clients. When working with folks I bring my training as an academic and clinician as well an authentic connection to spiritual gifts to alleviate the experience of mental health cognitively, somatically, and spiritually. I bring a curious, creative, client- centered approach to working with CPTSD, Personality issues, anxiety, depression, adult ADHD and neurodivergence, substance use and addiction, relationship concerns, and other life transitions. I provide a safe space for clients to explore LGTBQIA identity and relationship dynamics. I have additional expertise in business and creative coaching for artists, writers and free thinkers. I am passionate about helping individuals reach their potential of emotional fulfillment in this lifetime. I am a writer and creative that explores multiple avenues of self-expression and community building for collective liberation. I believe the social and political structures in the Western world reflect a global and species-wide movement toward a more sentient, compassionate world that must be built within and by each member of society.
