Treatment Approach

  • Biofeedback / Neurofeedback Teaches people to control body or brain activity using real-time monitoring. It’s often used for stress, anxiety, ADHD, and migraines.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Developmental Therapy Looks at how childhood and developmental experiences affect current challenges. It aims to repair unmet needs and foster healthy growth.
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
  • Hypnotherapy Uses guided relaxation and focus to access the subconscious mind. It is often used for habits, anxiety, and pain management.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.

My approach to counselling is centered on understanding each person’s unique experiences and guiding them toward a place of balance, healing, and inner peace. As a virtual counsellor, I combine a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, hypnotherapy, and EMDR, to foster deep emotional healing and support lasting personal growth. I believe that when people feel truly safe, heard, and understood, their nervous systems can shift from a constant state of survival mode into one of calm regulation, making space for profound transformation. I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or limiting personal growth. Through this collaborative process, I'll support you in uncovering new perspectives and uncovering solutions that can create meaningful change in your life. CBT allows us to explore and challenge negative thought patterns, while IFS helps you connect with the different parts of yourself, promoting healing through self-awareness and compassion. Hypnotherapy offers an opportunity to access the subconscious mind, creating positive change by addressing deeply ingrained behaviors, fears, and self-beliefs. Additionally, EMDR is particularly effective for processing past trauma, helping to reduce emotional intensity and bring relief to memories that have been holding you back. Ultimately, my goal is to equip you with the tools, insights, and strategies needed to regulate your nervous system and achieve lasting peace.
