You may be functioning on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or stuck in patterns you cannot seem to change. I provide a warm, trauma-informed space where children, adolescents, and adults can better understand themselves, process difficult experiences, and build meaningful, lasting change. My approach is compassionate and individualized, integrating EMDR, CBT, DBT, Person-Centered Therapy, and parts-based work based on your needs and goals.

Session Format: Couple, Family, Individual sessions.
Age Specialty: Adult, Children, Senior, Teen, Young Adult
Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I integrate evidence-based and insight-oriented approaches to help clients understand not only what they are experiencing, but the patterns, beliefs, relationships, and past experiences that may be contributing to it. Depending on your needs, therapy may incorporate EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness-based interventions, motivational interviewing, solution-focused strategies, and psychodynamic exploration. Together, we may focus on practical coping and emotional regulation skills while also exploring deeper patterns that can keep you feeling stuck. My goal is to help you build greater self-awareness, develop effective tools, and create meaningful, lasting change.

At North of Center Therapy, I believe therapy should be more than simply managing symptoms. Our experiences, relationships, beliefs, and nervous system responses can shape how we see ourselves and move through the world. Therapy offers an opportunity to understand those patterns, heal what is underneath them, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression and mood concerns, ADHD, personality disorders, dissociation, relationship and family difficulties, grief, life transitions, and concerns related to self-esteem and identity. I also have experience supporting individuals who have experienced emotional abuse, domestic violence, and other complex or painful relationships.
Treatment is tailored to the individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), parts-based approaches, mindfulness based approaches, and trauma-informed interventions. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard while also helping you develop insight, process difficult experiences, and move toward meaningful change.
