As a cancer survivor, over five years in remission, I know what it's like to feel the floor completely ripped from under you. Sometimes we have this vision of what we think our lives will look like and then...life happens. It could be an illness, a breakup, a move, loss of a loved one or a job, the list goes on. Therapy can offer you a place to set some of that baggage down, allow a time for break, time to sift through all of it, and hopefully leave the session feeling a little lighter. Therapy may not take it all away, but it can make the load more manageable to carry.
