Approach Description: My approach is integrative and holistic with a developmentally sensitive, neurobiology-informed lens based on an understanding of the impact of trauma on the brain. My approach integrates core principles of neurodevelopment and traumatology, and allows me to gain insight into a client’s unique developmental experiences and trauma responses. I also draw from CBT, humanistic, experiential, and emotion-focused therapies.

- I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor so you may be eligible for reimbursement from your insurance provider. I am approved for CVAP and take ICBC claims. Sliding scale is available for clients who may be facing financial barriers to accessing therapy.

I work with adults and youth with childhood trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, and relational trauma, and women who are victims of gender-based violence. I provide counselling for self-esteem issues, concurrent disorders, grief and loss, and bicultural identity crises, family problems, acculturative stress, addictions, and life transitions. I also work closely with individuals, couples, and families as well as immigrants and refugees.
