Most of my work is with people who have difficulty in relationships, either feeling too emotionally isolated or too merged. My strength lies in helping people find a place where they can be in intimate relationships and not lose themselves. Loving is difficult - and feeling loved, is even harder.

I provide affirming, trauma-aware support for people living with HIV. Together we can address the emotional impact of diagnosis, medication fatigue, stigma (including from faith or family systems), and the stress of managing other mental health concerns alongside HIV care. Sessions are a place to be fully seen — LGBTQ+ identities, relationships, and chosen family included — while we build skills for mood, anxiety, and healthy boundaries.

This component provide supporting emotional well being, coping strategies, self-advocacy, and resilience in managing health and daily life.

Living with HIV/AIDS can bring unique emotional, relational, and health-related challenges. I provide a supportive, trauma-informed space to explore the impact of diagnosis, manage stress and anxiety, and address the parts of yourself affected by these experiences. Together, we focus on resilience, self-compassion, and building a fulfilling, balanced life aligned with your values.

Managing HIV/AIDS is tough and the more support you can get, the better. It's not just about antiviral medication, is it...it's about managing that and the stigma and having as normal a life as possible while managing it all. Let me help you create and maintain the balance.

Alhambra is a west-central Phoenix urban village, a dense, working-class area with large Latino and refugee-background communities and some of the city's most affordable neighborhoods. Economic precarity, immigration-related stress, and thin neighborhood-level services shape mental health access, with community health centers doing much of the work.
