Jillian Lees

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW
My therapeutic approach focuses on the whole person. Specifically, working with female clients. We carry many different identities within ourselves. I want to assist, through a strengths' based approach, on how you can feel better and obtain greater awareness of your thoughts and behaviors, and why we think and act in certain ways. I work in a collaborative manner with clients, on what may work best for their individual healing. My therapeutic approaches include solutions focused, humanistic, and mindfulness. But I tailor therapy sessions to the individual person, so some therapeutic approaches may be outside of this box.

Sound Mind Sound Body LLC

Psychologist, MPsy, PsyD
The concept of Sound Mind Sound Body LLC is based on an Ancient Greek proverb that in order to be truly healthy, one must be healthy in both mind and body-if there is an imbalance, there is less fulfillment in one’s life. My goal is to help you to achieve that balance. There is an obvious emphasis in attaining physical health, and too often, there is less emphasis on the importance of mental health. In particular, how mental health can be impacted by physical health, and how physical health can impact mental health. Whether you experience chronic illness, trauma, identity issues (sexual orientation, ethnicity, the roles we play)-these are all areas that can affect one’s overall health. As a clinical psychologist, I have years of experience working in all these areas and hope to serve you to improve your well being. As someone who also struggles with chronic illness, specifically Crohn's Disease and PSC, my personal experience can also be helpful in improving understanding and treatment. Asking for help is hard, especially when you are in pain or feeling isolated. It's a brave step to reach out for help. I strive to help you find your healthiest self and to improving your quality of life. Feel free to e-mail: drwells@smsb-llc.com

It's important to not feel judged when talking about the things that are causing us stress, depression, anxiety or pain in our lives. It's also important that we are supported in a compassionate manner. These are a few of the things that you can expect when in session with me; a compassionate, nonjudgemental and supportive ear. You can also expect goals and sessions tailored to your individual needs. I do not believe that one form of treatment works for everyone, which is why I practice an integrative approach that utilizes many different tools and techniques in order to tailor your treatment specifically to you. There does not have to be something "wrong" with you in order to seek services. Some people come to me because they are worried all the time about things they do not need to worry about, some come because they are bad at focusing, some come because they are feeling down or hopeless, some come because they have decided to address a trauma they experienced, and some come because they are stressed over life changes. There is no right or wrong reason or time to come see me. I am ready to provide you the support you need now and in the future.
