The secret of getting and remaining slim is a healthy lifestyle, including healthy eating. If you know what you need to do, but you're unable to do it, this is because you are using food to prevent yourself from feeling bad. I will help you to identify the feelings that cause you to eat more than you want and find out where they come from in your biography. We will heal the experiences that gave rise to these feelings, giving you the freedom again to behave in the way that you choose, including eating healthily and moderately.

Lasting weight loss is about more than diet and willpower—it’s about understanding the patterns in the brain and body that keep you stuck. Together, we’ll uncover the emotional triggers, stress responses, and habits that drive your relationship with food, eating, and self-image. Using neuroscience-based coaching, BWRT®, and therapeutic strategies, I help you rewire unhelpful patterns and build healthier, more sustainable habits. We can also explore tools like mindfulness and HeartMath® to reduce stress and balance the nervous system, which play a vital role in appetite, cravings, and metabolism. The aim is not just short-term change, but creating a healthier, more confident version of yourself that lasts.

If yo uwant to create a long-lasting impact on unwanted weight, then it's vital to step into the realm of psychology/counselling for weight loss. A key component to this is Stress. Stress has a direct influence on your ability to lose weight. Whether it’s the external stress of a busy life or the internal stress of unwanted weight or eating behaviours, your body is in a survival response. Our bodies will not release weight when in survival mode, it does the opposite. It slows down. If we are faced with stressful, anxiety-provoking lives, we need to learn how to stop reacting and change our responses into more mindful ones; breath, awareness, slowing down, small behaviour changes and mindfulness are all powerful tools when it comes to shifting from stress to relaxation. I can work with you psychotherapeutically to help you unpick what lies behind the energy of wanting to eat.
