Kelly Baez

Licensed Professional Counselor, PhD, LPC
Hi, my name is Kelly, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified First Responder Counselor, and have advanced training in EMDR. I help veterans, first responders, and others process stressors and trauma more efficiently using EMDR. I offer both group and individual Intensives for those wanting to work through traumatic experiences in a short amount of time so they can move forward with their lives more quickly. That said, Intensives are not for everyone, so I offer EMDR sessions in the traditional weekly/biweekly approach as well. Don't feel like EMDR is a good fit? No worries, I have over 17 years of experience providing "talk therapy" so if you'd prefer, we can always talk it out. To get the ball rolling and ensure that working together is a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute consultation - I look forward to hearing from you!

Dr. Abrielle Conway, Rooted in Grace Psychological Services

Psychologist, Psy.D., Licensed Psychologist
Hi, I'm a licensed psychologist who is passionate about improving women's mental health, addressing sources of anxiety/stress, perfectionism, grief/loss, and trauma. I'm especially effective at working with women who are highly motivated to see change in their lives. Despite a strong desire to break through their circumstances, they often feel overwhelmed and stuck. They share that they need practical, hands-on strategies to help them overcome their problems. I take a highly collaborative approach in our work, meaning that while I give clients necessary information to make an educated decision, clients are in control of their treatment throughout the entire process. To get a feel for my style, I've included several pieces of feedback I've heard from clients who have enjoyed working with me: 1. "You see me and you hear me. I'm not alone anymore. This is the first time I've felt so understood." 2. "You are a safe place to just be myself with all my imperfections. I don't have to worry about putting on a mask." 3. "You give me practical tools to help me deal with my problems. I've made so much more progress in working with you over the past month than I did with my last therapist in years." If it sounds like we could work well together, feel free to call the office or request a consultation: https://www.rootedingrace.org/request/service

It takes courage to change, especially when you feel stuck with painful and confusing thoughts and feelings. You may find yourself struggling to change self-defeating behaviors and frustrated you can’t find relief. Psychotherapy can help you get unstuck. As we explore what is bothering you, you develop a deeper understanding of what is keeping you stuck and use that understanding to work toward living a more fulfilling life. Psychotherapy is a process for better understanding ourselves, especially our automatic, often hidden, and sometimes contradictory motivations, feelings, and desires. If you’re interested in understanding and addressing the psychological factors underlying your concerns in life, I might be a good fit for you. Please take a look at my website and contact me to schedule a free phone consultation.

Alena Porter

Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, NCC
My goal as a therapist is to create a safe non-judgemental space for all clients, especially clients who may not click with other therapists such as LGBTQ+, gender diverse, polyamorous or non-monogamous, and kink practicing clients. During our sessions you can be your true self. You don't have to mask with me or hide things about you that you think are weird or unlikeable. Ideally I can help you learn to like those aspects of yourself. You never have to hide important parts of your identity with me because I will never judge you for any reason.
