Palmer McCluskey, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC
I am very passionate about helping other people as I believe that every person is inherently valuable and worthy of living a meaningful and balanced life. As a therapist, I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment for my clients. Much of my clinical experience includes working with adults and adolescents who struggle with addiction, depression, and anxiety. I also enjoy working with those who are simply in the process of adjusting to challenging life circumstances and events (i.e., the loss of a loved one, starting a new job, coping with a global pandemic). In all of these cases, I believe that change and healing take place in the context of relationships with others, and I consider it a privilege to cultivate therapeutic relationships with people who are working towards making meaningful changes. I draw from several theories of psychotherapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centered therapy. As a clinician who also has an educational background in theological studies, I integrate spirituality and spiritual formation into counseling when desired by clients, always with the intention of helping clients achieve their goals.

My premarital work helps curb divorce stats! Prefer a 100% confidential therapeutic process from the start? Most relationship issues do not involve a mental health diagnosis. Fairfield, Connecticut therapist: Linda Michlin Ludwig, psychologist
Integrative Therapy

Linda Michlin Ludwig

Psychologist, Ph.D.
My training (Yale University Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology; four-year postdoctoral Certificate in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy) is broad and varied. I currently practice individual therapy and group therapy, both online. My approach to working with you will depend to a great degree on what you are seeking. Some people benefit from brief treatment; others seek and benefit from a deeper and longer exploration. I believe the combination of individual and group therapy can be particularly beneficial for many people. My work is guided as much by my own years of personal therapy and psychoanalysis as by my formal education.

I became a therapist because I believe that everyone deserves to have a gentle, non-judgemental listening ear while attempting to problem solve some of life's most difficult moments. If you are looking for guidance with anxiety, fears, depression, or stress, it takes courage to ask for help. Admitting you can’t do everything on your own, is the first step toward achieving wellness in a fast paced, demanding world. The good news is, asking for help gets easier with a little practice. The way in which we cope in the world is greatly influenced by how we see the world. Asking for help, and obtaining a fresh perspective is often the first and most profound step toward developing the mental muscle needed to become stronger. The more support you gain, the better equipped you will be to take on bigger challenges and achieve more successes.
