As a late-diagnosed ADHD neuropsychologist, I am happy to offer neuro-affirming evaluations for adults seeking assessment for autism and/or ADHD. My goal is to assess you in your own safe space while I am in mine! Testing sessions and reports are strengths-based, focusing on your unique neurotype instead of pathologizing traits. I create a safe place for you to process your concerns and heal. Sessions are conversational in nature. I want to hear your concerns in your own words and I will reflect back what I am hearing so you can confirm or correct. Our conversations help me to know which techniques are relevant and applicable to your concerns.

First, know that I am licensed in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina and see patients virtually in each state and accept most insurance. My starting point with patients is that virtually all mental health issues result from habits of thought, feelings, or behavior that were adaptive when they were formed but become maladaptive later in life. I begin my work by asking, "What happened to you?" rather than "What's wrong with you?" I try to point the way to personal growth allowing for more flexability in your responses to the things that happen in your life. I am happy to listen to you. To hear you. But, while its important to be seen and heard, its equally important to continue working for change in your life.
