Forgiveness is one of the hardest things we will do. I believe that forgiveness is not for the other person, but its for the individual who has been harmed so that they can feel free. It is important to understand what forgiveness is not. Forgiveness is not trust and it is different than reconciliation. One can forgive someone and still choose to not have a relationship with that person.
