Grief is one of life's most profound and painful experiences, and navigating loss requires compassion, patience, and support. Our grief experienced clinicians provide a safe, understanding space to process the complex emotions that come with losing someone or something important to you—whether through death, divorce, job loss, health changes, or other significant life transitions. We recognize that grief looks different for everyone and doesn't follow a timeline. Through evidence-based approaches including specialized grief therapy for children, we'll help you honor your loss, work through difficult emotions like anger, guilt, and sadness, and gradually find ways to move forward while keeping meaningful connections to what you've lost. You don't have to grieve alone—we're here to support you through every stage of your healing journey.

Grief doesn’t follow a timeline—and it doesn’t always look the way people expect. You might be holding it together on the outside while falling apart inside. You may be showing up to work, caring for others, or getting through your day just fine—until you're not. Whether your loss was recent or years ago, the weight of grief can feel disorienting, isolating, or even invisible.
I work with adults navigating many forms of grief: the death of a loved one, anticipatory loss, traumatic or complicated grief, and losses that society often overlooks—like the loss of a pet, estranged relationships, identity shifts, or ambiguous goodbyes that have no closure. In a culture that often minimizes grief or meets it with discomfort, my role is to offer a steady presence and a space where your pain is valid, welcome, and never rushed.
At The Momentum Practice, we’ll honor what’s been lost, make space for the full range of emotions, and work toward a sense of acceptance—not forgetting or moving on, but learning how to live with grief in a way that feels more sustainable and integrated. Whether your grief shows up as sorrow, numbness, guilt, anger, or all of the above, you are not broken—and you don’t have to carry it alone.
With over 15 years of experience, I help clients move through grief with compassion, clarity, and care. Together, we’ll begin to make meaning in the midst of heartache and gently reconnect with hope, strength, and even moments of peace. I’d be honored to journey alongside you. I believe that the most important thing to bear in mind when it comes to grief is that everyone grieves in their own way at their own pace. I have often helped clients work through self-judgement around things like being angry at a loved one who died or being relieved that they have passed. The Kübler-Ross stages of grief do include anger, but oftentimes, this is the hardest emotion to accept. Sometimes people also hear about the stages of grief and expect to experience one at a time when the reality is that these stages can run concurrently and in different orders. A major component of the grief work I do is helping people get to the point where they can honor and/or find takeaways from their loved one's legacy.
