Sexual abuse can affect a person’s relationship with their body, boundaries, trust, desire, shame, safety, spirituality, and sense of self. My work in this area is paced carefully and respectfully, with attention to both emotional healing and personal agency. Therapy may involve making sense of trauma responses, rebuilding connection with the body, addressing shame, exploring relational and sexual impacts, and developing a stronger sense of choice and safety.
