I work with clients who feel caught in patterns of compulsive sexual behavior, pornography use, secrecy, guilt, relapse, or conflict between sexual behavior and personal values. Rather than leading with shame or moral panic, I help clients understand the emotional and relational functions these behaviors may be serving. The goal is not simply behavior control, but greater honesty, accountability, self-understanding, and choice. Therapy may include exploring triggers, attachment needs, loneliness, stress, fantasy, avoidance, spirituality, boundaries, and repair in relationships impacted by secrecy or betrayal.
