Since entering the field five years ago, I have worked with clients around general mental health concerns and healthy sexuality, especially the impacts this can have on a person's mental health. Our goals will be to discover healthy and appropriate coping skills to managing mental health concerns. In doing so, you will have a better understanding of yourself and the concerns that bought you to see me.
I believe there is always hope for any situation and believe we all have the answers inside of us, we just need to learn to access those answers. We can work together to address the difficulties you may be experiencing and work toward positive, satisfying and lasting change.
Life gets difficult. Sometimes it feels like you can't go on. Maybe your relationship seems hopeless with continual conflict or no real communication. Perhaps the stress from work is overbearing. Maybe life is just discouraging, depressing. Then it's time to get help.
I've struggled with depression and anxiety. I've been married over 27 years and have 4 adult kids. I've felt the discouragement and have been overwhelmed, but there is hope. It is darkest just before the dawn. When you face the challenges, you need someone to walk with you. I have enough hope for both of us.

I work with couples who feel disconnected in their relationships to help them find their way back to each other. I also help individuals who are in a difficult season of life find their way back to themselves.
While many view mental health assessment and treatment as a way to identify a diagnosis someone else (i.e., a psychologist) assigns, we view it as an engaging and empowering process. A diagnosis may be met, and if this is true our hope is you will have words to understand who you are, how your brain (and body) sees and interacts with the world, and what you could potentially do about it based on honoring your input.
