Are you having difficulties with sleep? You are not alone. Insomnia is a common and debilitating problem. Research shows that 50% of adults report difficulty sleeping. Many of them use sleeping pills out of desperation to get some sleep relief, and they become dependent on medications despite undesirable long term effects. Research on CBT I shows that 75% of insomnia patients experience significant improved in sleep and as much as 85- 90% of them reduce or stop taking sleeping pills completely after CBT I treatment. I am a certified CBT I therapist and will be able to assist you in resolving your sleeping difficulties. In treatment, we conjointly work on changing the negative sleep thoughts and behaviors that lead to insomnia.
