Heidi Metcalf
Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LPCC
Traditionally women, but now all genders, are dealing with some kind of negative body image which impacts the core of their lives. If you are suffering from a negative body image, please contact me. We will turn that right around, because that is conditioning and programming coming either from our immediate family, or from the highly objectifying culture that we are in. If you would like to break free from these hurtful thoughts and reunite with your beautiful self, we can transform this in our work together.

Aria Fraser
Hypnotherapist, Certified Rapid Transformational Therapist
If a person has a negative view of their body image, it usually stems from negative experiences where a child was made to feel unloved or unsafe around others, if they were the target of some negative judgment, abuse, or trauma. If a belief was formed that they were not good enough/ pretty enough/ perfect enough/ big enough/ safe enough, or felt they had to comply with abuse from a caregiver whom they depended on, or they feel too different compared to others, it affects the way they see themselves and impacts their ability to connect with other people in a healthy way. An example of another such belief can look like "I want to feel/ look attractive, but attractive people get abused/ assaulted". Rapid Transformational Therapy is incredibly effective at helping a person see how those beliefs of poor body/ self-image were trying to help them or protect them. They can then be compassionately released, and new beliefs of empowerment and acceptance created in their place. RTT specializes in transforming people with complete self-acceptance, as that is often the root of so many issues. Ongoing support is given after the session to provide further help.
