Psychologist, BA (Hons), DPsych (Forensic), MPsych (Clinical)
Illume Psychology is a boutique psychology practice that offers a nurturing space to meaningfully and collaboratively work through your inner troubles. Through the transformative potential of an ongoing therapeutic conversation we will seek to understand your eating concerns and make helpful discoveries that bring about meaningful and sustained change in your life.
Eating disorders are complex conditions that affect both physical and emotional health. I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental space where we can explore the underlying issues contributing to disordered eating behaviours. Using a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and a strengths-based approach, we’ll work together to develop healthier relationships with food and body image. My goal is to support you in finding balance, improving self-esteem, and achieving lasting recovery, helping you reclaim a healthier and more fulfilling life.
My work focuses upon an holistic view of the individual and their history. This means our focus is less upon individual 'symptoms' and alleviation of these, and more upon what the 'symptom' might be communicating about imbalance in the individual. This leads on to an examination as to what needs to change at the level of body, mind, emotion and spirit.

Been there, done that myself. Only when I started to heal other parts of my life, have I been able to heal and break through my own eating disorders and finally be able to lose weight for good. I know that the core issues of eating disorders sit on that deeper level in the subconscious mind and I am equipped and ready to help you stop it once and for all.
