I enjoy working with adolescent. They are a big part of my practice. It is a special stage of development and must be addressed differently. Adolescent are struggling at becoming a responsible adult and at separating from their parents. It is often a difficult time due to lack of communication with the parents and of understanding. I involved the parents in the sessions when it is needed.  

At every age children need to know that they are seen and heard and that their feelings are valid. It can be hard for parents to know exactly what to say or do when emotions are raw and tension is high. I am here to help children learn the tools they need in order to navigate life’s challenges, express themselves in healthy ways and gain the necessary self-confidence and self-esteem.
