Anxiety, Fear & Emotional Overwhelm - Complimentary Consultation
Do you often feel weighed down by anxiety or persistent mental tension?
For many people with ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence, anxiety develops as the mind tries to manage overwhelm, uncertainty and constant mental activity.
Together we explore the connection between attention, emotions and the nervous system, and develop practical ways to regulate anxiety, regain emotional balance and respond to challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
Using a neuroscience-informed and strengths-based approach, I help clients build healthier emotional patterns so anxiety no longer drives their decisions or limits their life.
Book a complimentary consultation to explore whether this approach is right for you.

FEAR! The strongest of ALL emotions. Paradoxically it's been fundamental to our evolutionary success: particularly fleeing predators and other sources of harm. It's kept us alive for the 200,000 years of our existence as humans. We're not all that strong, we don't have claws and fangs --but we can run long distances! And it matters not one bit that our fear of that growl in the undergrowth may be unfounded. We can get that wrong 1000 times and if we flee we survive as a consequence.
Just as your smoke alarm has one volume (LOUD!) it's natural to be fearful of what we perceive may harm us. We often overestimate the size and proximity of threats and conversely underestimate our ability to cope. Fear is powerful BUT it can often interfere with logic and reason. That's why we need to respect fear and reassess our relationship to it. And courage is not the absence of fear; mindset is everything and mindset can be developed to ensure we have optimal strategies for the stresses and adversities that regularly afflict us.

Psychologist, CPsychol, AFBPsS, HCPC registered
I work with many individuals who suffer from various anxiety disorders. I understand anxiety as a form of complex PTSD and, therefore, focus on addressing (childhood) trauma to help my clients feel safe within themselves and in the world again.
In my experience, my clients are often highly creative, introspective, sensitive, and possess quick, intelligent minds. Our challenge is to learn to experience anxiety and other underlying feelings in a safe and effective manner, allowing these emotions to pass without retreating into our minds and prolonging the distress. We also work on the beliefs and assumptions that contribute to anxiety, as well as any past trauma at its root.
Our work includes understanding our nervous system and learning how to feel safe in our bodies to create more ease and calm. Another aspect of anxiety can be an intense focus on others and their feelings. In such cases, our work involves releasing the beliefs and assumptions that drive this focus, addressing potential trauma, and learning to concentrate on our own experiences instead. This includes learning to trust oneself and one's inner guidance rather than striving to please external factors.

Salvadore Coaching LLC
Life Coach, Holistic Life Coach, Certified Breathwork Instructor, Certified Hypnotist
Anxiety and fear often show up as protection—overthinking, avoidance, reassurance-seeking, procrastination, or a constant scanning for what might go wrong. While these strategies can bring short-term relief, they can also shrink our lives over time. In our work, we focus on changing your relationship to anxiety so it becomes something you can understand and work with, rather than something that controls your choices. We don’t dismiss the threat anxiety is responding to; we widen the lens to include what anxiety might be trying to protect—and what it may be inviting you to reclaim.
Together, we seek to slow the pace of the nervous system, identify triggers and patterns, and build practical tools that support emotional regulation and steadier decision-making. We also explore what anxiety may be pointing toward—values, unmet needs, boundaries, or important risks worth taking. The goal isn’t simply to feel less anxious, but to live more freely and move toward what genuinely matters.
