I am an optimistic and accepting therapist, enthusiastic about working with clients in collaborative ways, seeking to uncover and understand, and finding new ways of changing your life and living with fulfilling and rewarding relationships, families and friends. Over the years I have come to appreciate the therapeutic relationship as deeply healing, a safe space for clients to reflect and explore.

I use a variety of evidence-based tools and techniques to help you reconnect with your existing strengths and cultivate additional resources that support progress toward the changes you wish to make. Depending on specific needs, I draw from a number of therapeutic modalities, all incorporating a respectful, strengths-based, person-centred and recovery-oriented approach. My practice is grounded in developmental, trauma-informed and solution-focused therapy within a family systems theoretical model. I frequently call on creative interventions, mindfulness and somatic resources to align your mind / body / spirit connection and consider cultural respect essential to my therapeutic approach.
