Psychosis is an unwelcome trespasser in peoples lives. Recently research has shown that the earlier a person receives care, the better the chances of living a life of choice. While psychosis generally appears between the ages of 18 to 25, it can be related to other disorders. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis is a beneficial therapeutic tool.
Patients experiencing psychosis are a very vulnerable population. Feeling others hate you or want to harm you, feeling you are being spoken about poorly or being monitored by different groups, hearing voices, unusual and very strong beliefs and other unusual thoughts can be an indication of psychosis.
