In years of practicing counseling and doing my own training and research, I have learned that besides knowing "Why" it is also important to know "How." I find many people knowing where their trauma or problem is coming from, but they are still not able to move forward and resolve the issue. My focus is on understanding the client's challenges and then helping them move forward with practical and manageable steps.

I am a highly trained psychotherapist and pastoral counselor who has been working in the field for over twenty-five years. I offer compassionate and caring counseling for those who are struggling with a variety of life issues. I am a spiritually-integrated therapist who draws from many spiritual and religious traditions in my care for people.

I'm not your ordinary therapist. I have 26 + years of experience as a therapist, plus I have the life experience of a wife of 46 years, mother of two, and grandmother of four. I am the therapist that people come in and say, "Wow, you helped me more in one session than I got out of years with several other therapists." I am fun, direct, empathetic, but direct so that you can have the results you are looking for in a short amount of time. I love what I do, so it's not work to me. I'm very interactive in sessions so there won't be many times where I just sit there and don't provide feedback. I'm the type of therapist that will call you out on your stuff so I can help you meet your goals and have better relationships with others.
