Bonfire Healing - Bonnie Deopp, MS, LMHC, CN
Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC, CN, EMDR certified, Clinical Supervisor
Welcome, We're so glad you’re here! Bonfire Healing provides outpatient telehealth therapy with focus on complex mental health issues and developmental trauma along with co-occurring health conditions including infertility, including issues with PCOS. Our mission is to promote health equity through increasing access to evidence-based trauma treatment while utilizing insurance benefits so that care is both high quality and affordable to more people. We honor that trauma can impact fertility as if we are in activated states of our autonomic nervous system, including fight/flight/freeze than our bodies are less likely to appropriately make hormones that encourage fertility. This is due to our our bodies believing there is a lack of safety in our environment (if we need to run or fight, it's not the time for procreation). When we have experienced trauma, particularly childhood developmental trauma, our nervous system has a hard time feeling safe which can impact fertility. We can work together to help your nervous system know safety and be less activated into fight/flight/freeze responses which can promote fertility. We understand that infertility and infertility treatments increase stress and that stress can impact our fertility and we honor however you would like to manage your fertility. We are educated on the processes of fertility treatment so you won't have to spend time educating us.

Dr. Jeffrey Kehoe
Counselor/Therapist, ND, L.Ac, BCB, FABORM
As stress levels and environmental exposures rise, and fertility rates drop, there is still hope. The body needs the idea of abundance, and we can work together to help foster this emotionally and physically. If our body is responding physiologically as if we are running from a bear, it will certainly be more challenging to conceive a child. Biofeedback, acupuncture, and naturopathic medicine can all improve the likelihood of pregnancy whether trying naturally or via IUI/IVF. This includes addressing conditions such PCOS and endometriosis.

Camille Larsen
Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, LAC
Parenting is an extraordinary experience that, for some, may be difficult or impossible to have. Of course, this can be terribly painful. I work with many people who struggle with infertility, and the roller coaster of emotions it can produce. Some couples really struggle to turn toward each other at these times, and counseling can help to un-do alone-ness and improve communication.

Navigating infertility, different paths to parenthood, or exploring adoption can bring unexpected stress, grief, and questions about identity, relationships, and the future. In therapy, I provide a compassionate, affirming space to process these feelings, honor your journey, and explore the hopes, fears, and decisions that come with creating or growing a family.
Together, we focus on building resilience, supporting emotional well-being, and strengthening your sense of self and connection with others. Therapy can help you navigate uncertainty, manage anxiety or sadness, and find ways to celebrate the paths you are taking toward parenthood, however that may look for you.
