We honor that there is a strong correlation between trauma and the development of dissociative disorders as these are a way to cope with memories, body sensations, and emotions from traumatic events and often extremely difficult childhood experiences. We take a relational approach and we are in this together. We combine traditional support of phased psychotherapy while working through past trauma that heals the parts of you that learned to dissociate to cope with modifications for slowing down processing as needed to not overwhelm protective parts of your system.
