I work with my clients to challenge these negative thoughts, identify their strengths, and to have self-compassion for themselves.

If you have an overpowering critical inner voice and find yourself overwhelmed by feelings of shame or guilt, I will help you build a better relationship with your inner critic and find better ways of interacting with it. This will usually involve exploring the origins of your inner critic, which is often early life in you family, school, and/or religious community. As your inner critic relaxes and gains more compassion towards you, you will feel lighter and more empowered in your life.

This is an inside out, bottom up process of integration that introduces you to all that you are and all that you were meant to be, making peace with shadow parts as well as allowing powerful parts of you that never got to come forward. It is a messy, wonderful, and life changing journey to find our way back to ourselves.
