Yoann Roy Counselling
Licensed Professional Counsellor, B.SocSci(Counselling and Psychotherapy), M.Counselling, MPACFA, CPC
Challenges are a universal part of the human experience, affecting everyone regardless of their background. While opening up and discussing our difficulties can be both the simplest and most daunting step, it's often the most crucial.
My practice is built on the belief that a safe and supportive environment is essential for this process. My goal is to provide a space where you feel secure enough to work through your thoughts and feelings, no matter how significant or minor they may seem. I understand that beginning therapy can be challenging, as it requires you to share vulnerable parts of yourself that may have been hidden for a long time. Therefore, my primary focus will always be to cultivate a therapeutic relationship where you feel valued and safe to explore your inner world.

Colin Longworth - HPCCH Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Psychology & Counselling Services
Psychologist, MAPS, B Psych ECowan, GradDipCounselMurdoch,
I am a mature-aged Cisgender Gay Male Psychologist, Counsellor and Clinical Hypnotherapist, who came to psychology as a mature-aged student (studying mainly part time) after working in a variety of blue and white-collar jobs.
I find it interesting to investigate (therapeutically) how an individual (or couple) came to be where they are at this time of life. I refer to it as my "benevolent curiosity" which I use to seek to assist clients who come to see me (in person or online).
My belief is that for some clients they like the idea of working with a Gay man who is also a psychologist, and therefore (potentially) has first-hand knowledge and experience with some of the issues that an LGBTI person may experience. (i.e. the client is unlikely to need to "educate" me on aspects of LGBTI life.)
I also like the thought of being able to assist other LGBTI people feel more comfortable with where they are in life, by making use of my over half a century's life experience, decades of volunteer experience, all combined with my tertiary training.

Cathy Kunzel
Counsellor/Therapist, Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy
I have been in private practice as a psychotherapist since 2016. It took me a while to find where I fit in the world and develop who I am before I found counselling. My tagline "Not all wounds are visible" speaks directly to who I am as a therapist as I have also been through depression and anxiety. I have lived experience with different forms of mental illness and I am trained in suicide intervention and postvention. If life is pulling you down, your marriage or relationship is not going the way you dreamed, anxiety, depression, grief or mental illness is too much for you, call me, I had to learn to trust and I am confident that I walk alongside you to guide and support as you navigate sometimes overwhelming situations, thoughts and feelings,

I offer myself as a guide and a support to you as you look within and meet your inner world. This can often be a new experience and one that can bring up fears and discomfort. Together we establish safety, openness and an acceptance of yourself on a deep level. This can lead to healing and growth. I acknowledge the courage this takes and applaud you on this road to coming home to yourself.
