I work collaboratively with individuals and couples navigating challenges such as communication difficulties, emotional intimacy concerns, infidelity, life transitions, stress, anxiety, and depression. At the heart of my practice is the development of strong, trusting therapeutic relationships where clients feel both safe and empowered. I believe this foundation is essential for engaging in the honest, meaningful conversations that lead to genuine and lasting change.
My approach is active and goal-oriented, focused on creating meaningful progress while helping clients gain deeper insight, clarity, and a renewed sense of peace and direction.
For over a decade, I have supported clients both in person and online across Southern Vancouver Island and throughout British Columbia.

Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
Approach Description: My work with individuals and couples is grounded in a clinically sound, holistic approach that integrates emotion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and strategic coaching. This integrative framework is designed to enhance self-awareness, deepen insight, and support meaningful, lasting growth.
Often described as engaging, dynamic, and compassionate, I approach counselling with a whole-person perspective—attending to each individual’s unique emotional, cognitive, and physiological experience to create thoughtful, personalized care.

Therapy with me is all about honouring your unique emotional, cognitive, and physical experiences so you can deepen your self-awareness, gain meaningful insight, and foster lasting growth. It’s about helping you move with intention toward your goals—and supporting you in living a life fuller and more vibrant than you may have imagined possible.
My work spans the wide range of challenges that most people encounter at some point in their lives. I prioritize building strong, trusting therapeutic relationships so you feel supported and empowered to do the meaningful work that leads to authentic, lasting change. The human experience is complex—at times awe-inspiring, at times deeply painful. It holds light and darkness, struggle and triumph. My goal is to help you navigate it all with greater hope, resilience, confidence, and self-compassion.
I also specialize in couples therapy, where I focus on creating a safe, balanced space for both partners. By building a strong therapeutic alliance with each individual, I help couples feel secure and courageous enough to engage in the honest, sometimes difficult conversations that lead to genuine transformation. I work with a broad range of issues that affect romantic relationships and am committed to helping partners reconnect, rebuild, and grow together.
Are you ready to begin? I would love to hear from you.
