Through depth therapy, I create space for self-discovery, integration, and healing that moves beyond coping and surface-level solutions to address the root sources of anxiety, depression, and persistent difficulties. Psychoanalytic work can help you understand unconscious patterns, inner conflicts, and how life experiences influence your sense of self, perspective, and ways of being. Exploration is deep, wide-ranging, and open-ended, extending across all aspects and times of life. It proceeds from the idea that our symptoms and struggles stem from an unconscious logic, which we can learn to listen to and gradually untie — freeing ourselves to live in new ways that feel more aligned, resonant, and vital.

Approach Description: At the heart of my approach is the process of free association, which is speaking freely without filter. While this demands considerable courage and vulnerability, many come to find it exceptionally liberating, enjoyable, even exciting, as they happen upon new aspects of themselves, unexpected shifts in perspective, and a deeper comfort in being as they are.

Our struggles often stem from parts of ourselves we do not fully understand. I support clients in undertaking an open and curious inquiry into the deeper layers of their experience in ways that foster self-discovery, acceptance, and change.
My clinical work is grounded in psychoanalysis and psychodynamic talk therapy with integration of existential theory. As a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, I work with people interested in pursuing an in-depth exploration of the full spectrum of their life experience to discover how the past may be impacting them in the present. I invite a curiosity about unconscious material, such as dreams, fantasies, allusions, and fleeting thoughts, as well as patterns and impressions woven throughout life and lineage. Through this work, people often gain insight into the forces that drive and shape their experience, as well as develop a closer connection to their internal world and intrinsic nature. As new insights, expressions, and perspectives emerge, so do new ways of living.
