Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
Approach Description: Greetings! I am Lauro Guzman; I am a down-to-earth clinician, and my goal is to help you better understand and resolve challenges in your life. I work with and help clients address issues such as depression, anger, stress, anxiety and grief. These are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions and issues that we can experience in our lives. We first complete an evaluation to gather relevant information about your past and your current circumstances. We can then look for the source of your problem or identify behavior patterns that may be keeping you back from a healthy, balanced life.

Mr. Guzman helps people who are frustrated with patterns that keep playing out and who want to make meaningful and lasting change in their lives. They know an important shift needs to happen but are skeptical of general advise and prefer more than anecdotal support from others. Mr. Guzman uses cognitive-behavioral therapy as the preferred treatment model.
