You don’t need to have it all figured out before you reach out. In my practice, therapy is a space where the messy chaos is welcome — where you can explore your stress, identity, relationships, or life transitions without judgment. I specialize in supporting college students and young adults who feel overwhelmed, burnt out, or unsure of what’s next. Together, we’ll process the chaos, find clarity, and create a version of healing that actually feels human.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Gestalt Therapy Encourages awareness of thoughts, feelings, and actions in the present moment. It helps people integrate different parts of themselves for wholeness.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
- Psychosocial Therapy Looks at how social and environmental factors affect psychological health. It emphasizes relationships, community, and resilience.
- Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
- Self Psychology Explores the development of self-esteem and identity. It emphasizes the importance of empathy in healing.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: I help young adults with life transitions, stress, and relationship issues: The Big Three of "Why am I spiraling right now?" We'll talk about what's happening, what you want to change, and how to get there. Expect support, practical tools, and steps that feel possible. Change is hard, but we work harder. As the wise philosopher Ice Cube said, "You can do it, put your back into it".

Feeling like a mess in a world that wants you to have it all figured out? Same. That’s why I work with college students and young adults who are anxious, burnt out, and/or in the thick of transitions. Let’s be honest: Change is hard, even when it’s good or what you chose. Whether you're starting college, navigating early adulthood, managing relationships, or facing big questions about who you are and what you want. Here's the thing... You don't need to process it all alone. Therapy can be the space where you process and figure things out. And with me, therapy is without judgment, pressure, or weird florescent lighting.
My clients are often reflective, engaging, and experiencing burnout. They’re trying their best (and tired of pretending that’s enough). Together, we create space for real conversations, reflection, accountability, and eventually insight and change. I’m a big believer that healing doesn’t have to be heavy all the time.
You don’t need to have a specific “goal” to start therapy. You might just be tired of pretending you’re fine. You might want to stop spiraling at 2 AM, or to figure out why the smallest things feel so overwhelming. You are not broken. You’re burnt out, probably overthinking, and definitely doing your best. Let’s start there and get to work.
