You don't have to convince me that what happened to you mattered. It did. If you’re struggling after trauma, narcissistic abuse, family scapegoating, or growing up with emotionally immature parents, you’re in the right place. Many people spend years trying to understand things logically, yet still find themselves overthinking, spiraling, shutting down, stuck in grief and hurt, or repeating painful relationship patterns they don’t want. You can come as you are. You don’t have to prepare anything or know exactly where to begin. I have room for the complicated things, hidden parts, scary stuff, grief, hurt, anger, and the losses that cannot be undone or repaired. Who you are as a person matters to me, not just the problems you face. I want to understand what you’ve experienced and why it makes sense that you feel the way you do. You will be believed, listened to, and met without judgment. We’ll take the time to understand what you’ve been carrying, how these patterns developed, and why they still make sense today. As we begin to understand them together, we’ll have a clearer map for working with your nervous system, thoughts, emotions, and beliefs and for changing the patterns that continue to affect your life. My hope is that you’ll feel deeply understood and supported, while also beginning to understand yourself in a new way, trust yourself more fully, and experience new ways of responding, feeling, and relating. There is hope the future can look different. I offer a free 15-minute consultation and would be happy to connect with you. Please reach out if you’d like to see if we might be a good fit to work together.

Treatment Approach

  • Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
  • Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
  • Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: No two people arrive with the same experiences, so I don’t believe therapy should follow a single formula. Together, we’ll understand how your thoughts, emotions, beliefs, nervous system, and relationships have been shaped by your experiences. That understanding gives us a clear direction for the work ahead. From there, we work directly with the patterns that continue to keep you stuck, helping them begin to change in ways that are meaningful in everyday life. I draw from EMDR, ERP, attachment focused therapy, Internal Family Systems informed approaches, and other evidence based therapies depending on what makes sense.

Adrie-Anne Gamble Practice Description
I work with adults who have been deeply affected by trauma, painful relationships, and experiences that have left them anxious and questioning themselves, their relationships, or how to move forward. My work includes complex and developmental trauma, narcissistic abuse, family scapegoating, emotionally immature parents, estrangement, trauma bonds, dissociation, panic, shame, attachment wounds, and the patterns that can follow us long after the original experiences are over. I bring extensive training, specialized tools, and lived experience to this work. I work deeply and relationally, paying attention not only to what happened, but to what it changed in you. Together, we can understand the ways you learned to survive, work with the parts of you that still carry those experiences, process what needs to be healed, and develop capacities that may not have had the opportunity to fully develop. This can mean learning to trust yourself, recognize and respond to your emotions, feel safe enough to have needs, set boundaries, stay connected to yourself in relationships, and develop a stronger sense of who you are. You can bring the complicated things here. The things that are hard to explain, the things you feel ashamed of, and the grief that comes with realizing some things cannot be changed. I will meet you there without judgment and sit with you as you make sense of what happened, work through what still hurts, and find your way forward. My clinical training also includes specialized training with Dr. Ramani Durvasula as a Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician. My own lived experiences have deepened my understanding of these wounds and the healing process. I know this work is not only about understanding clinical concepts, but about understanding the profound impact these experiences can have on a person’s life, identity, and relationships. For those who are interested, I welcome integrating a Christian perspective into our work, including exploring spiritual healing, identity, grace, forgiveness, grief, and the process of rebuilding a sense of wholeness.
