Dr. Cindy Haines is a highly experienced psychologist dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate anxiety, OCD, trauma, grief, and relationship challenges. She specializes in evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), to support clients in overcoming OCD, anxiety disorders, and PTSD.
With advanced training from the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), the TLC Foundation’s Professional Training Institute, and certification in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, Dr. Haines is also certified to train others in CPT. Additionally, she has completed specialized coursework on treating OCD in children and adolescents through the Cognitive Behavior Institute.

Our Treatment Approaches: - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): A highly effective approach that helps individuals identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to anxiety and stress. -CBT-I: for insomnia Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP): The gold-standard treatment for OCD, ERP helps individuals gradually face fears while resisting compulsive behaviors. Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT): A structured, 7-12 session therapy designed to help individuals challenge and modify unhelpful thoughts related to traumatic events. Prolonged Exposure (PE): A 10-12 session treatment that involves discussing the traumatic experience in a controlled setting and gradually confronting avoided but safe situations. Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT): A specialized therapy for children (~20 sessions) that helps young clients and their caregivers process trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and create a trauma narrative. Written Exposure Therapy (WET): A brief, structured therapy that uses guided writing exercises to help individuals process and reduce distress related to traumatic memories.
